Hello, I'm Sam
I was born on August 4th, 1994, in Eugene, Oregon. During my formative years, I resided in Springfield, Oregon, where I attended Centennial Elementary and South Hills Assembly of God (through 'Kiddie College'). In the fourth grade, my mother and I relocated to Veneta, Oregon, where I was enrolled at Veneta Elementary School. I participated in an after-school program that taught me performance arts such as acting, juggling, yo-yo, Chinese yo-yo, and illusion-type magic tricks from a successful performer named Andrew the Great. Following my elementary education, I transferred to Fern Ridge Middle School, where I began skateboarding and publicly performing in various disciplines such as theatre, juggling, magic shows, and skateboarding contests. I continued to pursue my passion for skateboarding and performance arts as I progressed to Elmira High School, where I graduated in 2013. During my high school years, I won my first creative writing award and spent four years learning the German language. In June of 2013, I traveled to Germany for several weeks. After returning from Germany, I enrolled at Lane Community College, where I graduated with my AAOT in 2017. For the fall term of 2017, I transferred to the University of Oregon and graduated in 2020 with my Bachelor of Arts in theatre arts and creative writing. In 2021, I published my first book called Early Short Stories and Poems. I am a firm believer of healthy food and exercise and spend 3-4 days each week at the gym. I am a married father, and I currently work full-time as a supervisor at a bakery called Reality Kitchen. I'm a big fan of literature. I read every night. I also write every night.
